Native Sun Grocery, Jax Beach, FL
The deli at Native Sun in Jacksonville Beach used to have grey wall, but not anymore.

Right outside of my classroom there is a staircase that needed some love, so I started at the top of the stairs with this butterfly mural. It’s a very simple design but adds a lot of energy and brightness to the space.

Community Jellyfish at Pub & Pitts
This exterior mural is a collaboration between myself and artist Scotie Cousin at Pub & Pits in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Five years ago Scotie created a community jellyfish mural on some old buildings on Mayport Road in which he did the line work, and invited people from the community to paint the color. The jellyfish mural was painted over by powers beyond our control and all the work was lost, so the Pub & Pits mural is a recreation using the same process in which Scotie and myself are painting the line work, and Pub & Pits.
Postscript: due to situations beyond the control of Scotie and I, this mural was painted over:( As diligent artists we shall continue our quest for a home for the Atlantic Beach Jellyfish.

Unalome
I’ve been practicing yoga in front of this wall at Bella Vida in Jacksonville Beach for years and always wanted to paint a mural on it. This summer I got my change, collaborating with Brittany, the owner, on this unalome design. We chose white for this simple line design so that the mural would be elegant and subtle, not distracting from the yoga practice that takes place in the studio.

Chakra Mandala
This chakra mandala is in the bathroom of Bella Vida, and the blue of the mural is the same as the accent wall. I love the repetition and simplicity of this design, and the muted colors which align with the serenity that is found in the studio.

Aloe
The owners of this beach bungalow wanted an accent wall that played off the many aloe plants they cultivate on their property. I panted the wall with a muted warm color to give it a gentle contrast from the rest of the interior and them matched the green from the walls to color the body of the aloe, keeping the whole design simple and keeping with the airy beach vibe of the house. The pop of the aloe florets are my favorite, adding some zest to the wall.

Kernan Trail Elementary Logo
Kernan Trails is a vibrant community school in Jacksonville, Florida with a lot of wall space. The principal wanted their logo on this wall right next to the main door through which many of the students enter the building in the morning, so it’s the fist thing they see once they are inside building.
